The Flood Watch continues for * Portions of north central Texas and northeast Texas, including the following areas, in north central Texas, Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Fannin, Grayson, Hood, Hunt, Jack, Johnson, Kaufman, Montague, Palo Pinto, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant, and Wise. In northeast Texas, Delta, Hopkins, Lamar, Rains, and Van Zandt. * Through Saturday Midday. * Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches later tonight and on Saturday is expected with showers and thunderstorms increasing with another upper disturbance. Isolated higher rainfall amounts of 2 to 5 inches are possible with this next round of thunderstorms through midday Saturday. * Soils remain saturated across a good portion North Texas and any additional heavier rainfall will rapidly runoff and likely to lead to flooding.
