About Tricia Meek

Welcome to the Instructional Services site for Bells Independent School District.  It is my pleasure to serve the students and parents of the Bells community.

I received my Bachelor's Degree from Texas A&M University in 1992 and my Master's Degree from Texas A&M-Commerce in 1999.   After teaching for one year in another district, I came to Bells in 1994 and have enjoyed being a part of such a kind, caring, and compassionate family of educators.  I taught high school English for several years and was junior high principal before moving to work in district administration in 2003.  I am married  and have two sons.  My oldest son graduated from Bells High School in 2014 and is currently attending Texas A&M-Commerce working on a degree in education.  My youngest attends Bells High School and is involved in many campus activities.   Bells schools have provided my children with an exemplary educational experience, and the Meek family have always been proud Panthers!

The mission of Bells I.S.D. is "to provide engaging, purposeful learning experiences every day that develop graduates who are productive citizens in a technologically advanced job market."  As Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction, I embrace this mission and will do everything within my power to make this a reality for each and every student we serve.

I welcome questions concerning district planning and improvement and anything under the instructional services umbrella.  Thanks for visiting our district website.
