Our new computers just arrived and we will be loading new programs so that there will be something to make learning fun for everyone.

The class enjoyed a very special visitor the last day of this six week period. His name is Snickers, he is dark brown, very short, but has a loud bark! This young Miniature Schnauzer puppy belongs to Miss Jessi.  She will bring him to visit the class for special times throughout the year. The children love to hold and pet him.  Snickers is helping the children learn how to take turns!

October is a fun month. The fall weather gives us all a little extra energy for pumpkin, witches, and scarecrow art projects and fun ways to integrate math and vocabulary. We have a fun field trip planned for October 12. We’ll be going to the Pumpkin Patch in Ector where the children will find their way through a maze, have their faces painted, count pumpkins, and go on a hay ride.

Parents can help out at home by reinforcing your child’s understanding of days of the week:  today is………, yesterday was……… and tomorrow will be………………

Enjoy the fall!
