UIL One-Act Play
Congratulations on advancing to the Area competition! It will be held in Graham on Tuesday, March 27th.
UIL Academic Competition
We will travel to GCC (Van Alstyne Campus) on Friday, March 23rd for the UIL district academic competition. Students need to be at the High School commons by 6:45am.
State Robotics Competition
Our robotics teams will travel to Hutto, Tx on April 6th & 7th for the state competition.

Change to the school calendar
Due to a change in STAAR testing, Bells ISD has made a change to the 2017-18 school calendar. We will no longer have a bad weather day on May 14th. We will be in school that day, and the bad weather day has been moved to April 23rd.
BAND – Rated “superior” at the regional competition and qualified for finals at the AREA contest in Mineral Wells. 20 students advanced to the state Solo & Ensemble competition.
VOLLEYBALL – Area Qualifiers
FFA – 7 of the 11 teams advanced to the area competition in LDE’s , 26 students competed at the state competition at Sam Houston State University, Senior Chap Team 3rd in state, Junior Chap Team 5th in state, Junior Creed 5th in state
FOOTBALL – Bi-District Qualifiers
ROBOTICS – Swept the “arena” and “inventions” divisions at the LEGO convention, sending at least 4 teams on to the state contest
LADY PANTHER BASKETBALL – Bi-District Qualifiers

B.Y.O.D. (Bring Your Own Device) at BHS
We want to prepare our students for future success in college and career through 21st Century learning. This is why students at BHS can choose to bring and use their own laptops and other wireless devices in our classrooms and on our campus for instructional purposes. The students pictured here are meeting in the BHS Commons during school and are using their own laptop computers to complete classwork. Bringing their own devices promotes student responsiblity and the use of 21st Century tools for learning, sharing, and collaborating at school and at home.
Reporting Procedures for Bullying
To obtain assistance and intervention, any student who believes that he or she has experience bullying or believes that another student has experienced bullying should immediately report the alleged acts to a teacher, counselor, principal, or other District employee.
