UPCOMING EVENTS

Area LDE competition

Bells will host this competition on Wednesday, November 15th. There will be many schools here from all over the area. There will be no school for BHS and PJH students on this day. 

Football Play-off Game

Bells will take on Windthorst for the Bi-District Championship on Thursday at 7:00 pm at Bowie High School. BHS students can sign up for a fan bus leaving at 4:45 if they need transportation. There will be a pep rally at 2:00pm on Thursday at Panther Stadium. Come show your support and cheer the guys on. 

Girls’ Basketball Tournament

We will host a 12-team tournament November 16, 17, and 18th. Come watch some great basketball. 

SBY Auction

This is on Saturday, November 18th in the HS Commons. Tickets are $20 each which gets you a meal and entered into drawings for big prizes. The meal starts at 6:00pm and the auction will follow. 

Thanksgiving Holiday

No school November 20th through November 24th. Happy Thanksgiving!!

 


BHS ACCOMPLISHMENTS

BAND  –  Rated “superior” at the regional competition and qualified for finals at the AREA contest in Mineral Wells.

VOLLEYBALL  –  Area Qualifiers

FFA  –  7 of the 11 teams advanced to the area competition in LDE’s

in the old gym. All are welcome.


B.Y.O.D. (Bring Your Own Device) at BHS

We want to prepare our students for future success in college and career through 21st Century learning.  This is why students at BHS can choose to bring and use their own laptops and other wireless devices in our classrooms and on our campus for instructional purposes.  The students pictured here are meeting in the BHS Commons during school and are using their own laptop computers to complete classwork.  Bringing their own devices promotes student responsiblity and the use of 21st Century tools for learning, sharing, and collaborating at school and at home.

Reporting Procedures for Bullying

To obtain assistance and intervention, any student who believes that he or she has experience bullying or believes that another student has experienced bullying should immediately report the alleged acts to a teacher, counselor, principal, or other District employee.  Please see BELLS ISD POLICY FFI (LOCAL)
