Softball Back 2 Back State Championship Celebration

Join us on Tuesday, June 19th at 7:15pm at the City of Bells Pavillion to celebrate the Lady Panthers’ Back2Back state softball championship! All Panther fans are invited. Help us show these girls how proud we are! 

Summer School

June 4th through June 22nd (Monday through Thursday) from 8am-12 noon. 

EOC Retakes

For students not passing the Spring STAAR administration, we will retest on the following days:

Monday, June 25th  –  English I

Tuesday, June 26th  –  Algebra I and Biology

Wednesday, June 27th  –  English II

Exams will begin at 8:00 am. 

High School office closed

The High School campus will be closed July 2nd through July 6th for cleaning. 

Fish Camp

All incoming Freshmen are invited to our annual “Fish Camp” on Thursday, July 26th. We will pass out schedules, have pizza, games, and cover important information for the beginning of school. 

New Student Enrollment

All students new to Bells ISD may enroll at the High School office on August 6-7th from 8am – 3 pm. 

Meet the Teacher Night

We will have our annual “Meet the Teacher” night on Tuesday, August 14th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Teachers will provide information on expectations, curriculum, supplies, and more. We hope to see you then. 

First Day of School

The first day for students is on Thursday, August 16th. Go Panthers!


BAND  –  Rated “superior” at the regional competition and qualified for finals at the AREA contest in Mineral Wells. Also rated “superior” in concert & sight-reading at the spring UIL competition. 20 students advanced to the state Solo & Ensemble competition. 

VOLLEYBALL  –  Area Qualifiers

FFA  –  7 of the 11 teams advanced to the area competition in LDE’s , 26 students competed at the state competition at Sam Houston State University, Senior Chap Team 3rd in state, Junior Chap Team 5th in state, Junior Creed 5th in state, Dairy judging qualified for state, Livestock judging qualified for state for the 25th year in a row

FOOTBALL  –  Bi-District Qualifiers

ROBOTICS – Swept the “arena” and “inventions” divisions at the LEGO convention, sending at least 4 teams on to the state contest

LADY PANTHER BASKETBALL – Bi-District Qualifiers

PANTHER BASKETBALL – Bi-District Qualifiers 

ONE-ACT-PLAY  –  Advanced to the Area competition 

POWERLIFTING  –  Students advanced to regional and state competition

GOLF  –  Boy’s district champions and regional qualifiers

TENNIS  –  Boys and Girls district champions, multiple regional qualifiers, 3 students qualified for state

SOFTBALL  –  Qualified for the play-offs

BASEBALL  –  Qaulified for the play-offs 

TRACK  –  Multiple Area and Regional qualifiers

B.Y.O.D. (Bring Your Own Device) at BHS

We want to prepare our students for future success in college and career through 21st Century learning.  This is why students at BHS can choose to bring and use their own laptops and other wireless devices in our classrooms and on our campus for instructional purposes.  The students pictured here are meeting in the BHS Commons during school and are using their own laptop computers to complete classwork.  Bringing their own devices promotes student responsiblity and the use of 21st Century tools for learning, sharing, and collaborating at school and at home.

Reporting Procedures for Bullying

To obtain assistance and intervention, any student who believes that he or she has experience bullying or believes that another student has experienced bullying should immediately report the alleged acts to a teacher, counselor, principal, or other District employee.  Please see BELLS ISD POLICY FFI (LOCAL)
