Softball Regional Finals Play-off Info

Bells vs Emory-Rains in a best of 3 series

Game 1 on Wednesday (5/22) at 6:30 pm. Game 2 on Thursday (5/23) at 6:30pm. Game 3 (if needed) will be on Friday (5/24) at 6:30. All games will be played at McKinney Boyd High School.

Tuesday, May 21, at 6:00 pm at the BHS Gymnasium

BHS ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Congratulations to the Lady Panther Softball team – Back 2 Back State Champions

2018 State Accountability Rating  –  Bells ISD received an “A” and a distinction in “Postsecondary Readiness.” We are proud of our teachers, students, parents, and community. 

Panther Football  –  qualified for the play-offs for the 5th straight year

FFA  –  over 30 students qualified for the Area LDE competition, and over 20 students qualified for State LDE competiton, livestock and dairy judging teams qualified for the state competition

Girl’s basketball  –  Bi-District Qualifiers

Powerlifting  –  multiple students qualified for the regional completition 

Academic UIL competition  –  18 students placed at the district competition,10 students qualified for the regional competition, 1 state qualifier

Track  –  10 athletes qualified for the area track meet, 3 regional qualifiers

Softball  –  undefeated district 10-3A champions

Baseball  –  bi-district qualifier

Golf – boy’s team qualified for the regional competition

B.Y.O.D. (Bring Your Own Device) at BHS

We want to prepare our students for future success in college and career through 21st Century learning.  This is why students at BHS can choose to bring and use their own laptops and other wireless devices in our classrooms and on our campus for instructional purposes.  The students pictured here are meeting in the BHS Commons during school and are using their own laptop computers to complete classwork.  Bringing their own devices promotes student responsiblity and the use of 21st Century tools for learning, sharing, and collaborating at school and at home.

Reporting Procedures for Bullying

To obtain assistance and intervention, any student who believes that he or she has experience bullying or believes that another student has experienced bullying should immediately report the alleged acts to a teacher, counselor, principal, or other District employee.  Please see BELLS ISD POLICY FFI (LOCAL)
