New Transfer Student Enrollment
Families wishing to transfer into Bells ISD must complete an initial transfer application form.
Transfer Student Form and Agreement
Returning Transfer Students
Students who are currently enrolled in Bells ISD as a transfer student and are in good standing will recieve a link to complete a form each year. This link will be sent during the spring semester and must be completed for each student for the upcoming year to continue as a transfer student.
Transfer Guidelines
Transfers are approved for one year only.
- Families must apply for transfer every year.
- Approval for one year DOES NOT guarantee approval for subsequent years.
- Approval for one child DOES NOT assure that younger siblings will be granted once they reach school age.
Several factors are considered each year when making decisions on transfers:
- Availability of space and instructional staff
- Disciplinary history (Students must follow all rules and regulations of the district.)
- Attendance records
Transfer Application Requirements and Deadlines
- ALL TRANSFER REQUESTS MUST USE THE ONLINE TRANSFER APPLICATION.
- Transfer requests or documentation may be turned in to the administration building or to the principal of each campus.
- If a transfer application is submitted by the deadline, parent notification of transfer approval or denial occurs approximately the:
- Middle of June for students entering grades 6-12
- End of July for students entering grades KG-5
Transfers are not accepted in PreK unless the student is a child of a district employee.
