Message from the Principal

Clay Rolen

It is an honor to welcome you to the official home of the Bells High School Panthers. At BHS, we operate with a singular focus: providing a high-performing academic environment that remains deeply student-centered. Our mission is to ensure that every student who walks through our doors is prepared not just for graduation, but for the world that awaits them.

A Tradition of Excellence

Being a "high-performing" school means more than just earning high marks; it means fostering a culture of accountability, critical thinking, and relentless pursuit of goals. We take pride in our rigorous curriculum and our dedicated faculty who push students to exceed their own expectations. At BHS, we don’t just meet standards—we set them.

Staying Connected: More Than a Classroom

We know that a student’s success is directly tied to their sense of belonging. That is why we offer a vast array of programs designed to keep our Panthers engaged and connected to their school community. We believe there is a place for every student to shine at BHS:

  • Athletics: Building character, discipline, and teamwork through competitive sports.

  • The Arts & Band: Fostering creativity and precision through our award-winning musical and visual arts programs.

  • CTE (Career & Technical Education): Providing hands-on, real-world skills in fields like agriculture, engineering, and health sciences to prepare students for immediate success in the workforce or higher education.

  • Clubs & Organizations: From leadership roles in Student Council to specialized interest groups, our extracurriculars ensure every student finds their "tribe."

Our Student-Centered Promise

While our expectations are high, our support is even higher. Being student-centered means we see the individual behind the ID number. We are committed to providing the social, emotional, and academic resources necessary to help every student navigate these transformative years.

I encourage all our students to get involved, take risks, and make the most of the incredible opportunities available here. Parents and community members, thank you for your continued partnership in making Bells High School a premier destination for learning.

Go Panthers!
